A voice based e-mail system that can be accessed over the phone or as an environmental agent. Ekhomail incorporates context-based commands through a conversational user interface developed on top of human language characteristics. Some features include flexibility of the terms used, as the use progress the system learns new words and enriching its library of synonyms.

We explored how multimedia communication is used by young adults to strengthen their social relationships. We conducted user and experiential research to figure out how they handle their mobile communication and image capture needs. The design suggestion we formulated consists of a Morphing Camera Phone with features such as wireless telephony, real time video broadcasting, image capture, text messaging, remote sharing and automated online backups.

A one-day 'interaction re-labeling' exercise. It's goal was to explore how we can develop rich interactions with digital products by taking inspiration from the way we interact with physical artifacts. Based on a breath strips container, the practicality and portability of the object added to its personal and intimate nature were merged into a on-the-go personal scheduler.

In one week we explored how a ‘good for nothing’ robot could change the house environment. The result is Amici, a pet-like robot that is always around the house and whose only objective is to follow its owners while engaging in playful interaction with them and the rest of the family members.

A mobile phone based movie recommender. The My Movie System detects and stores user preferences while allowing the user to set the pace of the interaction. The searches can be done by movie, playtime, venue, rating, and movie length.
